COLONIES FAIR
When?
Past May 26th, the students from 8th A,
were in charge of promoting the knowledge and love for our country.
How?
Well, they did presentations about
Colombia´s regions by using English all the time. They also brought slides, traditional
costumes, typical food, posters, folk music, etc.
Everything was supervised and directed
by Mr. Juan Carlos Henao Bedoya Social Studies teacher.

Objectives
·
To show the importance of our Motherland to the little ones.
· To show the diversity it has in terms of flora, fauna, customs, music,
races, etc
·
To encourage the 8th graders to speak in public, by using the vocabulary they have learnt in their English classes and the power to establish a particular position about a topic, provided in the Social Studies ones.
